Mark November 17th on your calendar for this very important and heartwarming evening. Veterans from the Lebanon VA Hospital, local homes, and around our area as well as active duty personnel from the Carlisle Barracks will be served a delicious dinner and provided with entertainment and gifts. We are in need of volunteers to serve the meal, pass out the gifts, and chat with our guests. The dinner starts at 6 PM. All volunteers should be in the ballroom by 5 PM. We also need several dozen homemade cookies for the “goodie boxes” we hand out to each of the Veterans. Also, we are in need of gifts for our vets. A suggested list of items is posted on the Lounge Bulletin Board. They include, but are not limited to, such things as T Shirts (L and XL), white socks, sweat suits/shirts, phone cards, stamps, writing tools, boom boxes, and personal care items which do not have alcohol as an ingredient.
